Wholesale Order Intake service and data terms

These terms are between Mezza Luna Tile Company Inc. and the Shopify merchant using Wholesale Order Intake. The person accepting them confirms that they are authorized to act for the merchant.

Purpose and instructions

The merchant instructs the app to process uploaded wholesale-order data and customer email solely to match customers and products, validate rows, create merchant-confirmed Shopify draft orders, prevent duplicate creation, and provide related support. The app will not sell the data or use it for independent advertising.

Merchant responsibilities

The merchant is responsible for having a lawful basis to upload and process the information, keeping Shopify access secure, reviewing matches and exceptions, and confirming draft orders before they are used in the merchant’s sales process.

Data protection

The app applies access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks, and automatic 365-day deletion. The app will process personal data only for the stated service, notify the merchant of a confirmed incident as required, and use Shopify and Render as infrastructure providers.

Deletion and termination

Merchant data is deleted through Shopify’s customer and shop redaction processes and by the fixed retention schedule described in the privacy policy. Uninstalling ends access to the service and initiates Shopify’s required deletion workflow.
