Wholesale Order Intake privacy policy

Wholesale Order Intake is operated by Mezza Luna Tile Company Inc. This policy explains how the app processes information for Shopify merchants.
Information we process
The app processes the merchant’s shop domain and authenticated app session, customer email addresses, product variants and SKUs, and wholesale order data supplied in CSV files, including PO number, quantity, and optional unit price. It stores import results, Shopify draft-order identifiers, and limited operational audit events.
Why we process it
Customer email is used only to match an uploaded order to the correct customer in the merchant’s Shopify store. The remaining information is used to validate files, match products, create merchant-confirmed draft orders, prevent duplicates, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell customer data or use it for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Import batches, row data, draft-order links, and operational audit events are automatically deleted after 365 days. Shopify’s customer-redaction process deletes matching customer data sooner when requested. Shopify’s shop-redaction process deletes the shop’s app data after uninstall. Authentication sessions remain only while needed to operate the installed app.
Security and service providers
Data is encrypted in transit and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Shopify provides the commerce platform and authentication; Render provides application hosting and encrypted persistent storage and backups. Access is limited to authorized operators and personal-data access is logged without placing customer data in audit details.
Merchant choices and contact
Merchants may request access, correction, or deletion through the support contact shown on the app’s Shopify App Store listing. Requests are verified against the shop before data is disclosed or changed.
